Scientific programme

The scientific programme of IPAC’17 is proposed by a Scientific Programme Committee (SPC), in collaboration with the International Organising Committee  (OC) with significant input from the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).

The scientific programme will be composed of 30-minute invited oral presentations, 20-minute contributed oral presentations (decided by the SPC on the basis of abstracts submitted in response to the call for papers), and poster sessions from 16:00 to 18:00 each afternoon from Monday 15, to Thursday, 18 May.

Since poster sessions are a focal point of the conference, and with the objective of making them as attractive, successful and rewarding as possible, no oral presentations are scheduled in parallel with the poster sessions to allow delegates to follow the full conference programme.

Three plenary sessions will take place on Monday morning, Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, and a maximum of two oral sessions will take place in parallel for the rest of the time.

Questions concerning the scientific programme may be addressed to the SPC Chair, Mike [dot] Seidel [at] psi [dot] ch (Mike Seidel, PSI) or to juliana [dot] pranke [at] esss [dot] se (Juliana Pranke, ESS), responsible for the IPAC’17 Scientific Secretariat.
